I was moved to write this song today in response to the terrible tragedy happening in the city of Toronto. Sammy Yatim died of a gunshot wound in hospital after officers fired at least nine shots into the streetcar early Saturday. A vigil will be held at the scene Monday, July 29 to protest against police violence.
